About Expiry

Where can I find expiring domains worth buying?

Expiry lists expiring and auction domains from GoDaddy, Namecheap, and Dynadot, refreshed daily, with a value estimate on every name. Sort by deal ratio (estimated value divided by current price), filter by extension, length, and pattern, or start from a preset. Open a name to see its details and go to the auction.

How to use it

  1. Pick a source and a sale type: auction or Buy Now.
  2. Start from a preset, or set your own filters for extension, length, price, and pattern.
  3. Sort by deal ratio or value estimate, and star the names you want to watch.
  4. Open a name for its details and the link to the auction. Export up to 500 rows to CSV.

Questions

What is the deal ratio?

The estimated value divided by the current price. A 10x deal means the model values the name at ten times its current bid or Buy Now price. It is a screen, not a guarantee: auctions rise, and estimates have wide ranges.

How do expiring domain auctions work?

When an owner does not renew, many registrars auction the name during the grace period after it expires. If nobody buys it and the owner still does not renew, the name goes back to the registry and can be registered again. The expiring domains guide walks through each stage.

How often is the list updated?

Once a day for each source.
