How do two appraisal models compare on one domain?
The Appraisal Lab runs one domain through Toyroom’s two valuation engines side by side: the v1 AI appraiser and the v2.1 sales model. Each card shows its value, its range, and its version label. The sales model card also shows how the name was classified and which signals it used. Use it to see where the models agree and why they differ.
How to use it
- Type a domain and complete the quick verification.
- Wait for both cards. The v1 appraiser takes about 20 seconds.
- Compare the values and ranges, then read the classification and signals behind the sales model.

Questions
Why do the two models give different values?
They measure different things. The sales model learns from what similar names sold for. The v1 appraiser also weighs an AI judgment of the name as a brand. A large gap usually means the name is unusual.
Which value should I use?
Neither alone. Use both ranges, the live market prices on the Domain Appraiser, and comparable sales before you set a price.
